The third year of Aaron | Sanders nearly passed without us noticing. Time does go faster the older you get. It’s been a year of travel for Tara and big cases for Rick – who do you think got the better end of THAT deal?

In the past year, the law firm was ranked a Best® Law Firm by U.S. News & World Report, and both Rick and Tara were named as Super Lawyers®, an accolade given only to 5% of lawyers in any state. We got some good press coverage, and we criss-crossed the globe moderating panels and attending seminars on all things Intellectual Property.
And of course, we did some blogging. And now we will be doing blogging from our new home here at IP BREAKDOWN. This space is intended to give us room to stretch our legs and our brains a bit, and maybe stretch your brains too. You all know that there have been some pretty wild cases in the IP world this year – for example, the smallest lines of software are eligible for copyright protection, but very well may not be patentable. (And Yeah, Oh, Aereo…..) This is our new place to get our hands dirty in them, to dig into the meat, and to “break them down” for you. So visit often, and comment at will. We’re looking forward to this new avenue.
If you haven’t yet, check out our revamped firm website. We’ve designed the new site very much with our clients and future clients in mind, to answer many of your basic IP questions. So follow along on our new blogging site, take a look at the new firm site, and get in touch when we can help you. We’ll be here, until four and beyond……
